Classic Nieu and IKEA kitchen remodel! This Tigard, Oregon home was custom built in the 1990’s and was in need of an upgrade in several areas of the home. The owners prioritized the kitchen renovation because this is where they spend a majority of their time. The previous kitchen had dated cabinets and countertops and needed a modern upgrade. The concept of this design was to take advantage of the natural light and brighten the space while creating a more useful layout including extending the island to provide more guest seating.
The owner chose to use the IKEA base cabinet system with Nieu custom painted cabinet doors. Noteworthy features include the beautiful cabinet doors and bright white quartz countertops and backsplash. The natural lighting and cabinet color combined with the large white quartz island create light and bright atmosphere. The island boasts spacious dining for four perfect for everyday dining or entertaining. Professional grade island gas cooktop and retractable downdraft elevate the style!

Nieu Custom Cabinet Doors: Not finding exactly the style and color they wanted, the owners chose Nieu Super Shaker doors and drawer fronts with a nice bevel detail. They selected Benjamin Moore paint colors for the main cabinets and island.
Under Cabinet Lighting: LED under cabinet lighting channels were added for countertop and coffee bar lighting.
Spacious Island Dining: The original island was extended adding additional cabinet space and deep overhang to accommodate lots of diners and comfortable seating.
Quartz Countertops, Backsplash, and Island: Luxurious white quartz countertops and backsplash, with light veining brighten the space. The backsplash extends up to the bottom of the built-in cabinetry creating a beautiful and bright work space and cooking area.
High-End Stainless Steel Appliances: The kitchen boasts top-tier stainless steel appliances for high performance with a sleek and modern aesthetic. This kitchen features built-in oven and microwave. The professional grade gas cooktop and retractable downdraft in the island are functional and luxurious.
