Rose City Park Craftsman: Vintage Bathroom Renovation
A Craftsman homeowner in the Rose City Park neighborhood remodeled their original bathroom with modern style.
This bathroom remodeling project retains vintage elements of the home such as the craftsman trim and cabinetry yet includes modern fixtures and materials to create a luxurious main floor bath.
The homeowner modified the layout of this bathroom by removing a built in dressing table and moving the vanity and sink to the back wall, creating more space. A freestanding vanity cabinet with quartz countertop and under-mount sink was selected.
Central to the design was the freestanding bathtub and faucet. The tub filler also has an attached hand sprayer. All fixtures are in a brushed gold finish.
The walls were adorned with recycled glass and cement tiles adding color and texture to the space. These tiles not only added visual interest but also contributed to the room’s character, infusing it with warmth and personality.
To complete the transformation, tile flooring and other coordinating accents were introduced, adding a cohesive and modern to the space. Every detail, from the choice of materials to the placement of fixtures, was thoughtfully considered and selected by the client.
In summary, this bathroom remodel is a blend of vintage craftsman style and modern comfort. It is a comfortable and functional space the family can enjoy for many years to come.

This completed bathroom remodeling project reflects a perfect balance between old and new. It retains the character of the home while giving the homeowner all of the modern comforts and amenities you need.
